2. Click "Bid or Buy"
Found the one? Hit "Bid or Buy" on the item card. You'll be taken to your personal account on the main Akebono site. No account yet? Registration is free and takes about a minute.
3. Submit the item β "Request by link"
In your account, click "Request by link". Copy the item link from the catalog card, paste it into the Product address field, add the item name and quantity, and hit Create. Several items? Click "Add item" for each additional link.

4. Your manager confirms the quote
A personal manager reviews your request: checks the listing, the seller's rating and the unit's condition, then confirms your total β item price + shipping inside Japan + flat Β₯500 service fee. Questions about serial number, recapping history or included accessories? Your manager can ask the seller in Japanese before you commit.
5. Add funds to your wallet
Top up your Akebono wallet using your preferred payment method. We work on 100% prepayment: for auctions, fund your maximum bid plus the service fee before we bid; for fixed-price items, fund the confirmed quote.
Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, Stripe, PayPal, Bank Transfer.
6. We buy or bid for you
For auctions: we bid automatically on your behalf up to your limit. Once a bid is placed, it cannot be cancelled or withdrawn. If you win, we'll notify you; if outbid, your funds return to your wallet.
For fixed-price items: we purchase immediately after your balance covers the quote.
7. Arrival, packing & delivery
The seller ships to our warehouse in Japan (typically 2β5 business days). We inspect the unit on arrival and notify you. Then we pack it for international transit β double-boxing, proper padding, moisture protection β and ship with full tracking to your door.
