Korg MS-10, used. A 1-VCO, 32-key monophonic analog synthesizer released in 1978. A simple and compact entry model, the younger brother of the famous MS-20, characterised by a fat analog sound and free sound design through patching.

Specifications: 32 keys (F–C); 1 voice; VCO — 1 system (octave switching 32', 16', 8', 4'; waveforms sawtooth, square, triangle and white noise; pulse width / PWM control); VCF — 1 system (low-pass filter, self-oscillation possible through the strong resonance/peak); VCA — 1 system; EG — 1 system; LFO — 1 system (waveform switchable). External dimensions 499 (L) x 309 (P) x 249 (H) mm, mass approx. 6.0 kg.

Condition: B (an ordinary used item, on a scale of N, S, A, B, C, J). Smell: none in particular. Operation: good.

Condition comment: Used item. There is scuffing over the whole exterior, and the keyboard surface appears somewhat yellowed. There is no large crackle or noise of concern in any of the volume controls, and the sound from all the keys is good. I set up and produced sound from about ten settings following the setting sheet. The attached items are the carrying case (slightly warped), a patch cable, the manual, a setting sheet, a Japanese operation panel and several blank setting sheets. Cleaning and an operation check have been carried out.

We will respond with repair or refund only in the case of an initial fault within seven days of arrival.

Regarding old audio products, we treat them as operation-checked unless there is a difference or fault at a level that can be confirmed by ear. We do not go as far as checking the exact output ratio with an oscilloscope or similar. Unless the sound is clearly strange, slight crackle, poor contact and other deterioration of the internal electronic parts is understood to be in keeping with its age and is outside the scope of the guarantee.
